What are the requirements for DNA samples submitted for sequencing?

(1) High purity, A260/280=1.6-2.0, and no template RNA, chromosome DNA, or protein.
(2) DNA samples are soluble in ddH2O and cannot contain impurities, such as salts or EDTA chelating agent. Otherwise it will interfere with normal sequencing reactions.
