Genscript calculates the protein concentration with an established, consistent procedure utilizing a combination of different testing methods. For recombinant protein, we use a combination of Bradford Coomassie Plus Assay Kit (ThermoFisher, Cat. No. 23236) and Pierce BCA Protein assay Kit (ThermoFisher, Cat. No. 23225). For the recombinant antibody, Genscript uses A280 method and calculates the concentration by applying the extinction coefficient value. The result might be slightly different if a different reagent, equipment and/or standard curve is used in a different lab. If you have any questions, GenScript will re-measure the protein concentration with the reserved sample, and provide a solution on the concentration issue.
